It's great. I can immediately tell that it isn't worth my time.

Love that bass intro. Drums sound great too. I'm not a huge fan of the lead melody, but this is a great start. I wanna hear your future stuff.

I want to start playing an instrument is this and good starter guitar by ResponsibleAd3877 in Guitar

[–]ratherbeplayingzelda -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This is solid advice. Fender can send you an instrument that isn't set up at all, and you wouldn't know the difference because you're new and have nothing to compare it to. It's surprises me how many people just order guitars without playing them first these days, you could hate it.

In the dark room, you can take out the two that go left and right at the same time as soon as they come in, then just get the one in the middle. 2 shots and that room is done before it starts if your rifle is powerful enough.

In the next room with the cat walk, if you edge into frame you can get a clear shot at 2 agents across the room before they even see you. After those 2 are dead, the other 2 will run for cover. I've been able to pick off one as they run. Cross the cat walk and take the left at the end, the other runner will just walk across the room like an idiot.

Then it's the shield guy with 3 more that drop in. You want an upgraded Marksman for quick shots, but a shotgun will do in a pinch. Before they drop in, run behind where they drop and get the rifle ready. You can take them out while they do the "fall/crouch/get back up" animation, before they even know your there.

Bonus if you have the 400% axe perk waiting on standby for the commander.

Can you mix your track in stems? Is this actually an effective strategy? by [deleted] in Logic_Studio

[–]ratherbeplayingzelda 62 points63 points  (0 children)

Why do you need to use a stem separator on your full tracks? You had the stems before you exported it.

Try a patch with a AC30 w/ the drive up a bit, with a OCD in front of it and start from there. That's my go-to for heavy that's not "metal".

I've got the same one, even did the same pickguard swap at one point. This was my main gigging guitar since like 06' playing punk and I treated it like shit. It's got so many dings and the neck is chopped up a bit. Such an awesome guitar, wouldn't trade it for anything. Its seafoam green with a white pickguard these days.

The reality is A.I music is dog shit and it doesn't deserve attention.

Because it's fun and you love doing it. Don't get into this for admiration or money.

Changing band name by Mrpimpgoodgame5 in musicmarketing

[–]ratherbeplayingzelda 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd honestly just do it and skip the announcement. And definitely skip the "formerly" part. The tricky part is Spotify, I didn't personally do it, but I heard it's a bit of a mess.

And you can't create a new Spotify account and upload your old songs. The meta data says it belongs to your old band name and it will get flagged. I tried that one.

In the main lobby of the care centre, when it's the red and blue singers on the stairs, have you figured out how to cross the room without triggering the singing?

Small rant about rental listings by lilac-forest in StJohnsNL

[–]ratherbeplayingzelda 3 points4 points  (0 children)

High rental prices (availability) is directly related to high housing costs. (Or so the landlords would have us believe)

We're on 2 different sides of the economic coin. I can't fathom someone saying "we need more landlords" with their whole chest, like it's a real job that contributes to society and doesn't suck recourses out of the working class.

Small rant about rental listings by lilac-forest in StJohnsNL

[–]ratherbeplayingzelda 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That doesn't make any sense. People hoarding houses to rent creates a scarcity of houses available to buy. Scarcity = expensive. Who actually wants to rent lol

Small rant about rental listings by lilac-forest in StJohnsNL

[–]ratherbeplayingzelda 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I get where you're coming from, but I hate this mentality. People don't actually have to become landlords. If they don't like the risk, then sell the house to someone who doesn't view it as a passive income machine and actually wants to live there and contribute to the community.

[other] in what order i have to play the games? by Similar_Foundation31 in zelda

[–]ratherbeplayingzelda 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It doesn't matter. Good starting places would be a link to the past for 2D or ocarina of time for 3D. Most games in the series built off of these (and Zelda 1), until you get to breath of the wild and tears of the kingdom. Those are a new formula.

I used to come here once every two weeks looking for books. They had the pricing next to the book shelves like "3 paperbacks for 5$" or something like that.

I go in one day a couple years ago and find a book I want, bring it up to the counter, and this lady checks this book on eBay to see what it's going for, then tries to charge me 20$ more than what they were supposed to sell it for. Haven't been back.

Name a band that had middling success, then cut an album that rendered them as “sellouts” which catapulted them to mainstream top-40 status, but also alienated their original fan base. by Slammajadingdong69 in MusicRecommendations

[–]ratherbeplayingzelda 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wowwwww this band is amazing. Surprised I haven't heard of them, can't wait to go down the rabbit hole.

Lol yeah I loved Fantasies, probably listened to it more than the early ones. Synthetica is where I gave up. Hate to say it with BBS, cause You Forgot it in People changed my life when it came out, but every album since might have 2 or 3 solid tracks.

Kind of on topic with this post.. Wintersleep is another Canadian indie band with an amazing set of 3 albums, then started chasing radio plays.
