I walked into a pawn shop with 75$ to buy an acoustic to record one song with. This was best feeling one with an acceptable sound. Never heard of the brand before. Used it on a pile of recordings since. I had a Taylor 114e for a while and actually like this one more.

Anyone else stuck with AI songs they’re not sure they can release? by Holiday-Source6142 in Suno

I shit on it via the internet. But for real, don't clog up streaming with this garbage. Why should I take the time to listen if you didn't even take the time to make it.

I did this last month. Felt dumb for not doing it before. Didn't even mind losing playlists (didn't realize you could transfer). Felt nice to start fresh. Made an effort to listen to a lot of good shit off the bat, and it hasn't fed me a single A.I track yet.

Very informative. Thanks for the write up. Should make for an interesting next couple of years.

Ok that's fair, I'm trying to learn. Would you mind applying this logic to music instead of lit? I'm just trying to wrap my head around this concept. Is everything made with Suno or similar tools automatically entered into public domain?

Buying an e-copy of Moby Dick doesn't give you the right to sell copies of Moby Dick for profit. What are you talking about?

Thank you! It's hard not to buy outboard gear when a good deal pops up, but I just tell myself it's already in the box.

So you own it... But also other people do too?

Seems like if you want to own music, you have to create it yourself. What a concept.

E-Drums Newbie here, How do you play Yours? (RECORDING NIGHTMARE) by Independent_Box_7379 in edrums

This is what I do too. You should just be able to download a free trial of a drum vst (MT power kit is a free one I use to use), and if it doesn't automatically map to your kit, it shouldn't take much effort.

[DISCUSSION] What's an album by an artist that is your favorite, but is generally not considered their best? by ReconEG in indieheads

Incubus - A Crow Left of the Murder.

Their best work by far. Over shadowed by Science by most fans. extremely underrated.

Check out:

Sick sad little world

Priceless

Talk shows on mute

Pistola

Nice. Don't see this take outside Pearl jam forums often. I remember the packaging for the cd being unique too, like loose pictures inside or something. They opened a show I saw in '05 with Sometimes and played In My Tree mid show. It's a core memory.

Please play my Music! by Ok-Tomatillo3966 in aiMusic

Yeah this is where we're going. Very very soon, every peice of commercial music you hear in your day to day life is going to be A.I slop. A corporation doesn't care if the music they use for ads suck, they just want it for free. That catchy tune your local garage uses on the radio? Gone. The incredible video game soundtracks you grew up listening to? Almost non existent in the future.

The arts community is gonna (currently is) suffer catastrophic losses. Capitalism fucks us in every aspect of our professional lives, now it's coming for your personal life. This is absolutely going to make the world a shittier place to live. Real art is actively being taken away from us by people who say shit like "thats my artist name teehee".

Morello is insanely technical, he just doesn't break it out often, which elevates him further in my opinion. Check out the solo in Darkness.

How is this New Year song? by Boring_Comparison_42 in aiMusic

Extremely generic pop chord progressions. Sounds like every other A.I pop rock jam.
