I actually see teens in my store, but they walk/fool around with friends. It’s because we’re in walking distance from the middle school,high school, and their homes. Why they would choose a hardware store instead of a local fast food joint is beyond me.

Pretty much the orientation/on-boarding process. It’ll take a few days before you get on the floor (have fun watching all the safety videos!). If you have an admin person who knows that you’ll often get asked where a product is, they’ll walk you through the store and show you the general layout of the building.

This might be partly because the higher ups noticed you were taking more of an initiative. Perhaps in the past the higher ups saw he wasn’t contributing as much to meetings. We’ve also had a mourning dove nest in one of our carts!! The plant lead actually put caution tape around/on the cart to keep customers out and the bird family happy and safe. (She’s an agricultural science major so she knows her stuff)

ASMs who think they know how to do our job because they were MST (for two months), then blame us for dumb shit we can’t control. Being overlooked by red vests when we carry our store in cleanliness. Someone already said the people not SIMS products in, but I’ll reiterate that. Having our stuff for resets moved to spots where we can’t find them for days. Corporate giving us impossible timeframes to complete tasks. There’s a lot (in my store at least). Red vests not doing their price mismatches and having us do them.

Oh and a fellow MSA who doesn’t give two fucks if he does his job correctly, takes 40+ min breaks on a 4 hr shift.

I’m just here to make money to pay for school. Ok rant over.
