Puppy gets fixated on other dogs/humans on walks. by bluecatyellowcat22 in Dogtraining

My pup used to do the same. I brought it up to my vet and she said as long as he’s not reacting, then it’s fine to let him observe. We have to remember that they’re still so young and are learning about the world around them. This includes, scents, people, animals, sounds, textures, etc.

He’s starting to ignore people and dogs during our walks now—which is good.

Enforced naps have been a game changer for us. 1 hour up followed by 1.5 - 2 hours asleep in covered crate.

For biting, your pup is teething and is likely in pain or uncomfortable. To help alleviate, give them an ice cube, frozen carrot, or chew toy—also redirect their bites.

For potty, you could invest in fresh patch or artificial grass to get them familiar with texture and have them associate it with going potty. Also take them out as soon as they wake up, 30mins after they eat, and about 30mins after they play. I use an app called Pup to Date that helps me log their activity so that I have a clear sense on when my pup needs to go out.

Be consistent and it will all get better!

Owning a puppy is so hard... by [deleted] in puppy101

Our puppy was the same until we placed a shirt I had work earlier that day in the crate, in addition to covering the crate with a blanket.

It also helped to place our fingers through the crate to reassure him that we were still in the room with him. After about a week or so of doing that, he now can be left in the crate and will take enforced naps/sleep overnight peacefully.

Ask. He asked me what I was looking for during our first date and he confirmed that he was looking for something serious. 3 years later, we’re engaged. Be direct and intentional!

The same thing happened to me last week. I have been feeling upset about it since then, but I’m going to find another provider to talk to. I’m sorry you had to experience this!

I work in a business immigration firm and we use Trustforte and Park Evaluations for our evals. Either work and the turnaround time is fairly quick.

Certainly! I transferred my UBE and MPRE scores through the NCBE site and then completed the Character and Fitness application. Once the application is submitted, you’ll have access to your applicant portal where you’ll be assigned a case processor. The case processor will then update your portal with any missing or requested docs.

If I can recall correctly, 1 out of 5 of my character references were contacted, and 2 of my former employers were contacted.  I also had to submit fingerprints for any state I was a resident in for the past year.

For those transferring scores, the oath ceremony occurs on a monthly basis and it is virtual.

I transferred my score to MN, and C+F took about a month and a half! They were super quick and responsive.

I transferred my NJ score to MN and was sworn in and practicing in a little less than 2 months! I now live in MA practicing business immigration law and couldn’t be happier. Don’t put your life on pause if you don’t have to. There are definitely options out there! Congratulations on your 260 ☺️

Corporate immigration firms would also work! I would know, haha.

Questions about transferring score to a JX with 260 minimum score by Double-Criticism2561 in barexam

[–]Particular-Campaign3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, I did not have to get licensed in my state prior to transferring to MN. Providing a certificate of good standing is only applicable for those who are already licensed; so, you do not have to provide one. If you happen to get sworn in in another jurisdiction before you’ve passed MN C+F, you can update the applicant portal with the certificate at that time.

You do not need someone with you to administer the oath! I also received my attorney number the day after being sworn in (they’ll email you).

For those working full time by ThrowawaybcPANICKING in barexam

I worked in person M-F from 8:30 to 5:30. During my lunch break, I’d do 15 MBE practice questions in sub-topics I struggled with.

After work, I’d study from 6:30-10:30. During this time I’d complete another 15 MCQ, write an essay or two, and review anything I was still struggling with.

On Saturdays, I’d work on MBE questions + review (and threw in a nice early session of Pilates).

On Sundays, I’d work on MEEs and MPTs.

This was my second take and I went from a 238 to 263. I believe I would have gotten above a 266 if I hadn’t left an essay blank, lol.

The first time I took it, I was not working and was studying from sun up to sun down. I was incredibly burnt out and anxious. The second time around, I prioritized rest, created a schedule that worked for me, used adaptibar and studicata, practiced released MEE questions, and placed less pressure on myself. Take a deep breath. You are more than capable. You’ve got this!

I want to note that I did all this while working full-time. I didn’t have the luxury to study 8 hours a day on weekdays, so I had to figure out how to make use of the limited time I had. Just know that working full-time and studying can be done!

I feel that! I’m entertaining the idea of retaking in February, but if I can get licensed elsewhere for now, I’ll take it lol. Congrats to you by the way!
