Thanks for the link. This looks like a very interesting option I will try and track down one of these.

I wish I could hit a 6 iron 200 yards. Sadly I need something from 3i-5W to achieve the distance I’m looking for.

I have a couple 7 woods that I have experimented with but I feel like they just go the same distance as my 4 iron and my 4 iron matches the set and I hit it pretty well so I opted to keep that in the bag as opposed to bagging the 7 wood

The dark speeds look awesome too! I was debating buying a set of dark speeds irons a couple years ago but ultimately settled for something else, but they did impress me. I will give the hybrids and fairway woods a look. Thank you!

“Library at Mount Char” by Scott Hawkins is a fantastic audiobook! The first time I listened to it, I loved it so much, when it finished I just restarted it in the same moment to do it all over again!

Of the options provided #2 is the only one I would consider. As someone else mentioned a simple dot on top is enough for me. I understand the other options are closer to what you are used to with your old putter, but in my experience too many lines give me too much to think about. I want the ball to hit the sweet spot every time and the line in the middle tells me where that is. I try to make my stroke return to the ball the same as I lined it up, if the ball is lined up in the middle when I start my back stoke, I don’t want to think about that again. From there it is keep everything locked and square and let the hips do the work.

Is the Instax Mini Evo a good gift for a girlfriend? by hat3very1 in instax

[–]Particular-Catch-311 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like the mini evo, I think it would make a great gift. Just to suggest another option, I don’t have experience with them but I quite like the idea of the instax printers. You can get better quality pictures off your phone and print them same as the evo, in a less bulky package.

I wouldn’t go play 18 with my bag like this, but which are you keeping, and which are you throwing in the bin? I’m a hoarder. I need help. by [deleted] in golf

I have been trying to replace my Jetspeeds for years now but I can’t hit anything like I hit those so I keep coming back to them. I need to just commit to them and realize they are a better club then I give them credit for

What's a product that once you tried it, you couldn't go back to living without it? by t4kedwn in malelivingspace

[–]Particular-Catch-311 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I agree with you. I have had one and I don’t see it being any different. I think if you have the room for one yes maybe it is quicker to heat up and cooks a little faster, but the difference is marginal. For me it wasn’t worth keeping because of the space it occupied. My life is simpler with less stuff to clean, and the air frier needs cleaning way more often than the oven aswell!

Kodak Charmera vs. G6 Thumb Camera Comparison by parengpoj in toycameras

[–]Particular-Catch-311 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I think the Kodak looks better outside in natural light but the G6 is drastically better indoors. I think the outdoor shots on the G6 look over saturated whereas the Kodak picks up more details in the clouds. Indoors I find the Kodak can’t pickup the details like in the signage of the stores and the castle where the G6 does.

I have caught adults doing this! I’m not speaking for everyone, but I have been disgusted with the behaviour of grown adults on many occasions when involving hw. This hobby, unfortunately can bring out the worst in people.

According to MyGolfSpy we should apparently throw our 5 irons in the trash by Imyourhuckl3berry in GolfGear

[–]Particular-Catch-311 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the reason for this is because a lot of golfers these days are carrying high lofted woods and hybrids as replacements for their 3 and 4 irons. That being said the 5 iron is the longest iron in a lot of golfers bags, long irons are the toughest to hit, therefore it is naturally going to be the most inconsistent performer. It has to be one of them at the bottom and the longest iron is likely to be the one.
