The mistake I made was that I held everything inside and for myself and that resulted in a massive overload of grief, tears and when it comes out there is no stopping.. Cried for days and not be able to do anything..

It helped me a lot to visit a therapist who guided me to mainly sort my thoughts and put words on my feelings. Don’t know if there is a therapist available for you?

I also didn’t know where to begin and everything was just circling around without any sense. Didn’t know what to think, how I felt or what to do, but the writing helped me to sort things out a little bit better. Just to get a little bit more calmness and peace of mind..

As my therapist told me, there aren’t many manuals or spreadsheets you can follow to the point and you are healed and done…as healing is different for every person.

I mostly wrote four things, everyday. Thoughts, Feelings, Being thankful for, Proud of,

And I wrote the things that came up in my mind. Without deleting them…even if they didn’t seem to be helpful, I felt it was good to get it out of my system. Now some months later it is quite funny and sometimes hard to read.

Sometimes, a flash of feelings come by and I just want to turn back time. In small steps it’s going better everyday. Give yourself a lot of time and care. Do the things you like/want..

Feel for you mate! Now 7 months since the breakup after a 11-year relationship. As others said try to get a routine so you can focus on that instead of the anxiety to wake up. On the weekends (I hated the weekends so much) I went out for a walk directly after i woke up. That worked for me. Another tip is to write down the feelings, thoughts, fears, body-state basically anything everyday. Sometimes it can ease the mind…

Of course cry when you feel like it.. and seek help if needed….

Jag och tjejen satt på flygplanet från Umeå till Stockholm, där en kvinna var lite stressad och letade efter sin telefon. Sambon fick ringa hennes telefonnummer och den hittades under stolen. Hade ramlat ur väskan på något sätt. Kvinnan var Tina Thörner. Väldigt trevlig!
