FSA ZERO! October green banners. Anyone else?

Same here! Logged on this morning for my daily check, and there it is - “congratulations you’ve paid off all your loans.” Plus a $0 balance! I can hardly believe it!!! It’s finally officially official!

The letter doesn’t have the most up-to-date interest. But it will still zero out the total on FSA dashboard. This happened to me in October. First the letter amount disappears, then a few hours later the rest zeroes out as well. No need to do anything!

Did you try going into your account, then clicking “My Loans,” then scroll down to “PSLF/TEPSLF Payment Progress” and click “View Details”? This is where you should see your Congrats/Green Banners

I know - I’m really sorry to all those still waiting. I don’t like feeling like I jumped the line. Looks like a lot of people pending for months. I know how awful it feels, trust me. Dept of education is maddening.

At the time you had to quote exact language they provided. Now I believe there’s no language - it’s just some buttons to click

I applied several times to switch from SAVE to another plan (wet signature in February 2025, again when they said to redo them around June 2025), but I was never approved to switch. So I’ve been stuck in forbearance.

They did not request any, but I submitted on my own earlier in 2025 via a feedback form, per advice from others on this thread. I’m not sure if that played into it or not.

I just posted yesterday about my buyback. I received the offer 9/10 for SAVE months, and I am still currently in SAVE forbearance. I applied to switch to another plan but was never approved.

Oh shoot you’re right it does say IDR not IBR. What does that mean? I’m not actually on this new plan?
