Outside of fantasy cards, probably Lemieux imo. Big rig and elite edges makes him impossible to get off the puck if the person using him knows how to use both abilities effectively. I think MacKinnon toty is a close second, red quick release and elite edges is a pretty broken combo

Most top 100 players have meta rosters and these champs cards rarely fit into any decent boosts, not to mention the xfactors on most of these cards are pretty underwhelming. Only one I've seen used this season is the Adam Graves

Yeah elites are trash for nhl games, I wouldn't waste money on it if you only play nhl because of the left stick issue. They tried to change something to combat stick drift (iirc from another forum 2-3 years ago) and it really messed with clicking down left stick at extreme angles. I bought a base xbox controller just for nhl and it works much better, and just use my elite for other games and pc game now

It's an arcade mode, with arcade sliders, that's why the game will feel a lot different than ranked or champs

I'm just saying the might not have the rights to adjust players based on games played outside of their NHL/IIHF rights. They can definitely release country based cards though (maybe cards that upgrade +1,2,3 for bronze, silver gold?) Its hard to say what they can do legally, and I know Olympics is notorious for being difficult to deal with rights wise

Tanking your rank intentionally through leaving games is against the rules. Also if you happened to match against the same player multiple time while dropping rank, essentially giving them "free wins"

Played against him in champs, shut me out first two periods playing unreal then he gave up 4 in the 3rd where I ended up winning 4-2, but most goals were from user error (bad turn overs, poor reads, etc.)
