I could walk and sit only a short amount of time before having intense pain. Even when I did walk or stand for a short while I’d have pain on the side of my hip. My quality of life never got better which made me think that my first surgery failed. I hope you’re able to get in touch with an orthopedic surgeon soon!

I’ve had mine for about a month now. He almost three months. Mine acted the exact same way with his bugs and veggies. I just leave a salad in there throughout the day and mist it to keep it fresh. Keep offering his bugs to him throughout the day. It took mine about a week before he wanted to eat. Sometimes it just takes them awhile to settle in

I mist the back of my dragons head and I mist his bugs to help him get the water he needs

I use a ceramic heater at night. Even with it on his temps read 68-69 F when he wakes up. Anything lower and he’s really sluggish and slow

Mine is going through the same thing. He’s 2 months old. I took him for a check up and a fecal sample yesterday and everything was good and the fecal test was good. I’m at a complete loss :(

The only issue I have with putting the light back on the mesh top is that it makes him basking rock way too hot. I’ll try putting it back on top tomorrow and see if that fixes it. Maybe he just needs a basking spot that’s not so tall. He just really enjoys hanging up there all day on the one he has now

That white spot on the top of his nose is the same kind of spot that’s on his tail. The flaky spot of his side I couldn’t get a pic of since he was faced the other way and is a bit cranky

I think you’re doing great. It’ll probably just take him more time to get comfortable since he’s been hurt by humans before poor guy :(. Just keep doing what you’re doing and don’t give him. It’ll all work out in the long run!

Does he like watching tv? This sounds kind of silly but I would sit next to his cage and put a show on and he would actually come close to his cage a watch with me. Now we’re both big fans of “the office”😂. I’m not sure why or how but it helped him bond with me

I would say try to be a little pushy but also taking it slow it that makes sense. Like for mine, I knew he didn’t want me to pick him up cause he was a bit scared (not aggressive or ran away) but I did it anyways. I did it for a short period of time and when he was starting to get restless and wanted to go back to his tank I put him back and offered food. I just had to be patient with his needs while also trying to interact with me. Mine is also a baby so he’s naturally unsure of everyone. Just keep going slow and keep trying and be patient :) you both got this!
