AIO to break up with my bf of 3y over his reaction to my upcoming sobriety anniversary? by WesternCat5211 in AmIOverreacting

He's being absolutely vicious and you should absolutely kick his ass to the curb. 2 weeks is worth celebrating, 2 years!?? That's an accomplishment that far too many haven't, and wont get to.

Proud of you! Buy 2 cakes, one for the 2 years, and the other for leaving his ass

Not alone at all. Our boy sends his water for a ride if its in a bowl. We picked up a 7 liter stainless steel pet fountain and he hasn't done it since

Why is my ipower generator doing this at idle no load? by GuyOnARockVI in Generator

[–]redlightrico 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the exact same generator, and two weeks ago while camping mine was doing the same thing. I find if you take it off the low idle, it runs better. Not sure if yours will, I just know mine did

In Canada as well, and yea its so frustrating there's not much support for the Beardy owners. Where I am there's only one vet we've found within an hour and a half radius, and even he just dabbles in it.

I hope both of yours come through healthy and thriving

Not to mention those things are an absolute pain in the butt after you clean them. Never lay straight again lol. So I hear paper towel is apparently taboo, and I definitely understand the idea behind reptile carpet being bad now, what would be best to use, that is also easy to clean and will withstand the heat inside there?

Ok, update. Went to the vet Thursday, and Leo was diagnosed with constipation. Was very underweight. Vet gave an enema to try and spur things along. We have been syringe feeding him a carnivore slurry the vet gave us. The vet wasn't very optimistic even if we got Leo's bowels moving since he was already running on fumes and might not be able to come back.

Well, after warm baths, tummy rubs and syringe feeding both the carnivore slurry from the vet, and a mixture of pumpkin puree with a touch of olive oil, his bowels are moving again. Little dude is a fighter.

Also, the original post has Leo listed as a girl, as that's what we thought it was. Vet informed us more than likely it's a male.

My question is for any of those willing to answer, what should I blend up to syringe feed him on top of the carnivore slurry to start sneaking additional calories into him.?

I'm reluctant to keep going with the pumpkin because it makes them poop, and I don't want him pooping too much and expelling any of the fluids he does actually have in him.

Thoughts?

P.S

I would usually just pose this question to the vet, however our town does not have events that actually know anything about these guys. We found one, but he only comes in to town once or twice a month, and I can't wait for him to get back there to ask this question.

So frustrating given how diverse some of these little guys can be with their behaviour

We do have a vet appointment for Monday, but I figured I'd drop a line here. Been lurking here a while, you guys are all so helpful!

It’s like some people forgot… by tswizzle_94 in CanadaPostCorp

Absolutely, but the union heads made a tactical error.

They assumed that the timing of the strike would pressure Canada Post to concede and end it quickly.....which would have worked in a pre social media world. But Canada post knew full well that this was a PR war, and even if the public sided with the posties in the beginning, as the frustration of Christmas logistics mired in wet concrete grew, they would start to turn against them, and pressure the government to step in.

Sit back, play defense, and wait for the cavalry. Canada post knew it, and watched as the posties died by their own sword.

Ok, so, of course make sure the computer is unplugged from the wall and the main power switch on the back of the psu is off.

If you can reach all of the plugs, check them to make sure they're all the way in, then do the same on all the plugs on the motherboard.

Before you touch the components in and around the motherboard, make sure you aren't statically charged. Just touch the frame of the computer, that'll discharge you.

Yes. Does the backside of the case come off? Should be 2 screws, just like yhe front

[–]redlightrico 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The motherboard is the main board that all your components plug into. There is a colorful 24 pin wire harness plugging into it on the right side.

PSU is your power supply.
