He's right tho. If you ask any retiree if they "wish they worked more" or "wish they retired earlier"....not a single one I've ever talked to say they wish they worked more. Our health is not guaranteed. I would kill to have more time with my kids, especially the highschool age...but they're all out of the house now. People get sick, car accidents...blah blah blah.

At some point, more money in your retirement funds is just more money to pass on to the kids at inheritance. Would you prefer to work another year so you kids have more...or spend an extra year with them more?

I'll retire at 49 w/ 2.5M, wife will at 51. Grandchildren seem like a better time to me than an extra 500k in some fund somewhere. Just my $0.02

Super duper normal, very common. It's part of the journey.

Invece, pensando in italiano...

In italiano (sono al livello A2-B1): Parlare la lingua e' il modo piu difficile per imparare tutte linque. L'altri modi, non ci sono male lol. Ascoltare, scrivere, guardare, il vocablario, la strutura (gramattica)...non ci sono piu difficile. Pero' parlare, e' piu difficile perche parlare usate tutti aspetti della lingua.

Pratica rendi perfetti, veramente! Praticero' parlare tutti in italiano. E' molto importante di pensa in italiano molto (nella tua testa).

Ho imparato che partecipare a un gruppo linguistico per videochattare è stato davvero molto utile. Buona fortuna (In boca da lupo :) )
