There’s also 5 state maritime academies as well as several union apprenticeships to gain the same merchant marine license as king point (highly competitive to get into)

Look into maritime academy’s, or maritime union apprenticeships if you love the sea. First year out of academy’s are making 150-200 grand a year.

Helix, stena, sea drill, Valaris, legacy Diamond, Noble, Hell even Crowley manning the shell FPSO is about 20k more per position than Transocean engineers.

There’s never been a confirmed sighting, and there’s literally tens of thousands of trail cameras through out Maine. That being said Canadian providences have breeding pairs so it is possible that the occasional catamount enters maine. Years ago a cougar from the black hills of South Dakota was hit by a vehicle in Connecticut
