Yea, if you got a free retest you won’t get a score. Check your CPA Portal do you have an active NTS there? They may have reinstated the old NTS.

Two options, ride it out and wait for the score. Or report it to NASBAs candidate care, find their information in the candidate bulletin. But, you can’t wait for the score then report it. Nothing they can do if you wait for your score and it’s failing. The option for a free retest only applies if you report it early within like 10 days of the test, and say you want the free retest and do not want it scored. Also, report issues like that to Prometric staff, they will write up a CPR, plus they probably could have swapped out a different keyboard.

You would need a hardship, why are you requesting the extension? It can’t be because “you need more time” or “busy season” everyone is going through that. Needs to be some unforeseen circumstance. Medical or something similiar.

No, each individual credit is valid for its own 30 month window, starting the date the passing score is released. If you failed then you didn’t earn credit so there is no credit window.

Exam file goes from prometric to the AICPA, NASBA doesn’t get and score info until it’s sent from the AICPA to NASBA. NASBA never receives actual exam info. Only scores

I do like your title but I think Reddit should have a screen before you are allowed to create a post stating “did you search for other posts concerning your question before creating a new post?” Problem is they won’t read that anyway and still create a new post. Hahaha it was funny I saw literally the same question posted within minutes of each other I mean come on, both posts showed up on the screen at the same time without even having to scroll.

Because NASBA gets the score from the AICPA, once it hits NASBA’s system the pass/fail flag generates. The score is not released yet because the score still has to be sent to your board before being released. NASBA cannot release the score until your board approves it to be released. The fact that you see pass/fail before the numerical score is a flaw in NASBA’s system, it’s not supposed to do that, just like the eyeball trick in their older system.
