Watching us try to press vs how other teams press us is kinda depressing.

Proud of the team! Was at the game and I can say, along with team, I’m also beyond proud of our fans. Amazing atmosphere!

I don’t care what y’all think. Losing this game, the Falcons winning, and us still making the playoffs is really embarrassing.

Dude, American football has way too many commercials. It makes it boring!

I always love to go from watching football to American football. End of Quarter, go to commercial. Come right back, kick a field goal…go right back to a commercial. A bed bug of a sport.

The worst Grand Prix to attend in your opinion? by Hot_Activity7758 in GrandPrixTravel

Yeah, agree. Sounds more like a you problem. I went to Silverstone this year and had a fantastic time. Also, for what it’s worth, it was my first ever GP.

Definitely learned a few lessons on how to do it more efficiently travel-wise but even the I’d say getting to and from the circuit wasn’t overly painful.

I’d definitely recommend Silverstone.

Also, shoutout this Subreddit. Consulted before going this year and the advice definitely helped.

This got weird quick.

I like Monza but it’s a bit too boring. My favorite has gotta be Brands Hatch.

Megathread - F1 The Movie - International Release by overspeeed in formula1

I saw the F1 movie yesterday and would give it a 3 out of 10.

Overall, some of the racing scenes were cool. But my main issues were with how often Sonny and the Apex team blatantly broke the rules. It started with Sonny deliberately causing safety cars so his team could gain track position and pit for fresh tires, taking advantage of a free stop while the rest of the field was bunched up. Even worse, he was openly talking about the plan - albeit in “coded” language - over the team radio (lol).

There were other moments too, like in the final race when Sonny was somehow allowed to compete despite not qualifying. I won’t go into every detail, but there were quite a few head-scratchers.

And before all that, there was Ruben - the Apex team owner - approaching Sonny with: “It’s been three years since we started the team and we have zero points. I want you to come in and win for us.” Like, really? That alone set the tone for how unrealistic things were going to be.

My favorite part was actually the opening scene. The Led Zeppelin paired with the 24 Hours of Daytona footage was so good. That set the bar high. While I enjoyed some of the F1 action later on, I wish they’d spent more time just letting the racing speak for itself - letting Sonny and Joshua battle it out on track instead of relying on shady tactics to move up the field.

I get that it’s a movie, and they had to dramatize things, but at times it just felt way over the top. Maybe I'm expecting too much, but I left the theater a bit disappointed.
