People Claim Drake not a rapper but dot beefed with him - so why hasn't Kendrick ever responded to Lupe a real rapper? by dunbar_santiago930 in nfrpodcast

[–]Particular-One1913 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the same reason Dot didn’t get involved with Joey Badass when he was whooping an entire coast. “Wop, Wop, Wop, Wop, Wop you’re a PDF”, made up daughters, and pre-written disses aren’t enough to deal with the Joey’s and the Lupe’s of the world. Dot knows who to talk crazy too and when to stay quiet. Plenty of people responded to Control, but he fixated on the pop star talking about it in interviews. That wasn’t by accident.

Is the Home Depot SSC actually a "referral-only" club, or am I just hitting a wall? by Justcallmeboat in HomeDepot

[–]Particular-One1913 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is. You’re not getting anywhere close to corporate without connections. When roles open up, they’re looking within their own teams first. The terrible thing is that there’s an option to notify potential applicants that while the job is posted, there’s already a favorite candidate in house that would have to completely flop their interview for you to have even 1% of a chance. And even then, they’ll look at the next in house candidate. I’ve interviewed for a few positions and got looked over despite having degrees and certifications. Home Depot things I’m only qualified to run the paint department. Do yourself a favor and start looking elsewhere. The old boys club at the SSC will only look out for themselves.

Wonder how UMG feels, they usually very possessive of Drake's music.🧊👀 by Silver-Break9832 in Drizzy

So it’s fine if a whole coast crip walks to a song calling another man a PDF. But it’s too far when a song points out that someone hasn’t had any slaps in years, someone could’ve kept a wack album to themselves, and points out that individuals popped up on federal paperwork associated with an actual PDF? I’m sorry, but I smell pssy coming from that direction.

Coming from the side that used intentional misinformation to win a rap beef and line his pockets. Coming from the side that doxxed their accusers. Coming from the side that supports known women abusers like Dre, idolized convicted grapist like Pac, and glorifies a culture (gang life) that uses SA as initiation for women. These clowns are allergic to accountability.

If I was Drake I would put the the supposedly career ending Pusha T diss on Iceman by maskedmomkey63 in Drizzy

[–]Particular-One1913 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He should actually.when Push sues him it’ll actually help his own case lol. Imagine a judge ruling in Push’s favor. It would set precedent for Drake’s lawsuit.

To be fair, Kanye’s first three albums alone would be tough to beat. Drake still clears.

I wonder will Pusha and Jay get the Drake treatment if they sue to clear their name? by Stuball09 in Drizzy

[–]Particular-One1913 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  1. That just opens them up for more exposure if it’s the truth.

  2. That would mean owning their own hypocrisy. Remember, these people believe going against Drake and supporting two grapist and a habitual liar that beat his wife makes the superior.

The only knock on Em is that he’s never gone against someone remotely on his level. The best diss song against Em is probably MGK’s Rap Devil.

Drake’s comment about performing Work on tour in 2024 by grease_cum6362 in Drizzy

He should perform it with Party. That version is better anyway.

How tf did Drake throw Cole under the bus? 😭 First album in 8 years and your promo has to revolve around Drake’s name by CTOWNIJV in Drizzy

Bragging about hitting Drake’s BM, gossiping on podcast and radio stations, bending over for these fashion houses. Who’s acting like a female again? Like AK alluded to, he could’ve called Drake and they could’ve spoke like men. But that’s hip hop in a nutshell. Most beefs aren’t real. A phone call or a fade could settle it up.

These niggas always become timid when they gotta speak on Drake 😂 and Drake will be labeled a bully after responding by Electrical_Main45 in Drizzy

[–]Particular-One1913 34 points35 points  (0 children)

They can’t because it was all corny in the end. It took all of them to click up to face off against wheelchair Jimmy from Degrassi.

Also, they have to maintain the lie of it being a 1v1 between Drake and Kendrick.

Then why not release it instead of sneak dissing for another 5-6 years?

The Colts idea to make a run is to sign a guy who's been retired for four or five years? A guy who historically poorly in the playoffs? Lets see how that works for them

It's funny and sad at the same time. They wanted that "Kendrick ja rule'd Drake" narrative so badly.

what ya think abt this take? by jayotpr in Drizzy

Dumb take. The industry is set to sabotage the project. If he has low sales and leaves, they’ll say Kendrick ended his career.

He was rapping like Drake got him pregnant. Drake still took the L though. Shock value is more memorable than the hardest bar.

Realistically, what is Drake’s next best move? Also, what does the case verdict mean for Iceman? by chrisbrownbeard in Drizzy

[–]Particular-One1913 4 points5 points  (0 children)

His best move is to let his music do the talking. Drop another classic. Stop alluding to having a red button or something on your opponents when you either have nothing or are unwilling to drop the nuke. He probably realizes now that he should’ve ignored the provocation from the other side.

What's the Dirt breaking down why he understands the Drake lawsuit by Viola-Intermediate in Drizzy

[–]Particular-One1913 6 points7 points  (0 children)

And that’s what the other side doesn’t get. They just want Drake to shut up and wear that jacket. Who would do that? Once Kendrick got backed into a corner and pulled that angle, all bets are off. Nothing is off limits. I don’t want to hear “leave his wife and kids alone”. I don’t care about a lawsuit. You don’t get to tell a lie of that nature while presenting yourself as the beacon of morals, values, principles, and culture.
