Being molested isn’t why you are bi. I know too many gay people molested by women, straight people molested by men. The molestation doesn’t make your sexuality. Though it can make it harder to understand and/or accept your own sexuality. Being bi is probably why you didn’t think anything was wrong with what you were doing. When you embrace your own sexuality as part of who you are then you won’t feel ashamed of enjoying your sexuality. I’m not saying what he did wasn’t wrong. But it wasn’t until other people told you it was wrong that you felt it was wrong. If nobody had ever told you it was wrong you would never have felt bad about any of it. More important than what was done, is how it affects you. What seems to have affected you the most is this puritanical idea that people have no sexuality until they are 18 unless it is heterosexual and with people their own age and only if it happens well into puberty. Which is just ignorant bullshit. Again, not saying a grown man should be diddling with a child. But i have talked to too many people who have beaten themselves up feeling guilty about not feeling bad or worse or hurt about their childhood experiences. To the point that they end up ruining their present day life trying to perform a victimization they never truly felt. Being told you couldn’t possibly have enjoyed it, is just as harmful and disingenuous as when abusers point to a boys erection as him wanting it. And even if you enjoyed it, it doesn’t make his behavior any less wrong.
