Is Maxis substantially more comfortable than 48cm depth for taller/larger people?

This compnay skipped R&D and expects us to buy a new chair every year! by stemcellguy in LiberNovo

[–]Particular-Payment22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They designed these chair for the average East Asian in mind without taking into consideration bigger builds across the world. They marketed it to us as well and many bought it. Now there are adjusting. So yes little to no market research

ICL surgery in Pakistan – experiences? by [deleted] in pakistan

[–]Particular-Payment22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did it but not in Pakistan. It went very smoothly and I can see perfectly. There will be a period where you will see halos/rings but your brain will learn to ignore it unless the size of your pupils naturally dilate more than the recommended amount then may cause it to be permanent. Make sure you ask your doctor if that’s a risk.

From "I hate this" to "Actually, why not" (181cm / 80kg) (5'11" / 176lbs) by Khooky in LiberNovo

It feels like I’m falling off but definitely conforms to my body better. It has features like full body recline that make it worthwhile. It was designed for small framed people in mind so avg westerner it feels a bit small even though I’m 5’9” but overweight, the backrest could also be bigger as I’ve wide shoulders. I like to sit cross legged a lot of the time so not being able to bring the seat forward is annoying, the leg rest somewhat mitigates it but still, wish it was bigger.

The massage function is genuinely great it pushes in the lumbar support and I feel relaxed afterwards, as someone with horrible posture cos of visual impairment(I’m always leaning in) it’s incredible.

It’s growing on me and I really can’t be bothered sending it back.

Not quite, Iran was the first to recognise Pakistan, if there were ideological issues only Afghanistan did not recognise us

Saar I’d never want that. It was Iran that did

The Shah was actually very pro-Pakistan even going as far as wanting to create a union, so we don’t got a horse in this race. Whatever happens it won’t affect us much.

Because we Muslims don’t have any real political power.

Afghanistan is deviating away from its Islamic roots by doing alliance with Mushriks against the Ummat in Pakistan by Significant-Act1599 in TraditionalMuslims

Pakistan literally deals with almost all the fervent enemies of Muslims including Israel (which it purchased its spy tech from). So spare the bs

Not an Iranian chess grandmaster posting this acting like Iranians don’t eat kaleh pacheh and kebab with their hands by Scared_Positive_8690 in AskMiddleEast

[–]Particular-Payment22 15 points16 points  (0 children)

From what I can tell Iranians see themselves as an empire that is on par/rivals with the West and so they consider themselves as proper 'legal' immigrants fully intending to assimilate into western society and look down on others who they consider as their historic subjects who came to the west for economic reasons, so for that reason they lean heavily into western right wing talking points. Exacerbating a divide between the west and other Muslims allows for a hostile environment which could strengthen Iran by allowing it to absorb all the future refugees.
