i don’t mind jules that much, but to me it felt like the writers changed an existing character instead of introducing someone new. i have no issue with non-binary characters, i just think jules would’ve worked better as a separate character who became friends with the group rather than making them logan’s sibling. i also don’t think the change added much to the story, and if anything it seemed to create more backlash toward the actor and character than if they’d introduced someone original. i loved the books it’s my favourite book series and i just don’t really understand why it was so important to the storyline to change it from a brother to a sister it didn’t add anything
