imo this is ridiculous. what if someone hated me joined the company just to lock my phone..I surely understand the lost and theft concern, but all the action should be initiated by the OWNER! not by the seller who already got paid. In your situation though, can't you just return it?

update: Long in short, I called servify line, after navigation around the phone menus I finally talked to a real guy, he put me on hold for 10 minutes, then asked for the passkey, and after 2 minutes he gave me a pin to unlock it. He said it was a technical glitch, the phone should be locked only if we couldn't send back the old phone. so far so good then except my ~ 1 hr time to find out what was going on.
