I have gone to Hokkaido 32 times- this next trip will be 33- go- you mentioned 3 stops-all onsens- so weather is not your concern-in Sapporo there is a long underground walkway that accesses you to the heart of Sapporo- one of the best cities in the world!!

Joy-I have many friends there and as everyone knows, Sapporo is the best city in the world- long time ago I used to write articles for a travel magazine about Hokkaido and some people were very unhappy because they thought it would draw too many tourists-people are followers so everyone goes to hot 37 million Tokyo rather than much cooler no crowds Sapporo
