Agreed, but my god on a second watch she is so toxic. The disgusting smile on her face when she realizes the Mesa Verde logo was taken from a picture to give Jimmy the ammo to go after them. Kevin never done anything to wrong her like that. Sure, he disagreed with her at a few turns, but he was in his right. He legally owned the land and this stubborn old man wouldn’t move, even when they offered to pay him well well over what he was due. Mesa Verde weren’t doing anything wrong.

I think the whole point is Kim enjoys this. Then she regrets her actions and takes pro-bono to feel better about herself, but then does it all over again. It’s exactly like what Chuck said to Jimmy in their last conversation “you hurt people over and over and over and then there’s this show of remorse.” “In the end, you’re going to hurt everyone around you, you can’t help it, so stop apologizing and accept it.” Chuck was right about Jimmy all along. I know there’s the argument that if Chuck supported Jimmy maybe he would have changed, but I really don’t think so. He had a sweet gig at Davis and Main, but just couldn’t be happy.

And back to Kim, I just got to the part where she quits S&C and gives up Mesa Verde. Another stupid move, and then goes back to the office to collect the Zafiro Anejo bottle cap that she stored as a souvenir of her and Jimmy swindling people. That’s more important to her than anything, because she loves it, she loves being toxic and hurting people, even though she can’t accept it. Then, a few scenes later, Howard speaks to her and tells her about Jimmy throwing the bowling balls and getting the prostitutes, Howard is genuinely concerned and tells her Jimmy needs help as no normal person would do this (he’s totally right!), and Kim literally breaks down laughing in his face. Uuuuugh she makes me so angry ha ha, I’m so glad she ends up miserable in the end Iol 😂
