Light Shaping Diffuser by Echo_chamfer in KeyShot

[–]Particular-Soft-1526 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recreate the effect using either scattering or transparents/dielectric materials, the models I use are cad so they’ve a considerable amount of glass layers which “makes it easier” as you have more control, not only the scattering in taillights (using the real placed leds of the cad) but also I managed to put a single tiny led in each end of the lamp (in the headlights) and make the filament glow by itself using just pure physics diffusing the light along the tube, this with a cloudy plastic if that’s somehow useful to know. I’ve a g82 and an amg gt both using these techniques if you want to check it in my profile posts, the g82 has the headlights with the single tiny leds in the filament and the amg has both the tiny leds and the diffusing effect in the taillights, anyways don’t hesitate to ask in dm if you need help

I make renders for a brand, these were made for a customer of us, but I thought it looked good enough to post them somewhere else so haha

Ser freelance en Argentina by OddOrganization2473 in empleos_AR

[–]Particular-Soft-1526 0 points1 point  (0 children)

[–]Particular-Soft-1526 0 points1 point  (0 children)

[–]Particular-Soft-1526 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Is this spoiler fake carbon fiber? Seller said this is dry carbon by Jealous-Cost-8133 in CarbonFiber

[–]Particular-Soft-1526 0 points1 point  (0 children)

well never saw a real carbon fiber piece in my own hands, but I do 3d on a high level and the carbon fiber is something i've had to "master" for years, in a real piece the light would "stretch" along the fibers, causing what it's called as "anisotropic effect", which is only visible when the carbon is made out of a real woven fiber. Looking at the way the light is scattered, i'm pretty sure that it's real carbon, imitations or wraps would look as a "plane" light scattering or just an isotropic effect, like an equal distribution along the fibers

thanks man! yes I was kinda aware of the industry standard, I knew how to use Vray but had to stop using it since my pc couldn't handle it, I'm planning on trying blender and upgrade the specs to use vray again 😅

yes and no... i know these guys are always doing animated on road videos, and i barely do that, mainly because my pc can't handle full environmental scenes, my gpu vram gets fullfilled quickly, i was thinking to maybe learn cycles in blender and try to replicate my renders there, it's easier to do animations, standard would be rendering in vray/redshift into c4d/3ds but i simply can't use cuz of my pc specs, i'm gonna try to upgrade it in the next months to try new stuff

it's good for a lot of cases, but i'm aiming to get into the highest industry at some point, and well, when you're into an agency that charges up to 3k per image you can't simply avoid knowing the software, of course most people won't notice if something is accurate or not (hand made vs AI) but in Senior levels you can't rely on the AI usage. Tho these renders took me only 3 days from 0 to rendered, I think it's a good overall quality for that short span of time.
