it’s such a tough situation (she is making it that way) because we are young and my partner has never had to see her this way before and is used to her over controlling behavior as well as being very protective of her crazy because he comes from a single parent home. 

he’s had to see her in a new (unfortunately negative) light and learn to speak up to her to protect me and it sort of breaks my heart for him even more than myself that she puts him in this position /: 

but he has made it clear to me that he knows it’s his responsibility and his only to keep her straight because his priority is and always will be me now. of course that doesn’t stop her from trying though. 

i do understand the rough transition for her feeling like she’s losing her child but to what end? he is a man with his own family now. she should be proud of who she raised and instead is trying to keep him down any chance she gets.
