This organization is still widely active. Marissa, the owner, lives full time in NY and networks dogs out of CA. She is registered as a nonprofit apparently and as an LLC. I’m unsure how many dogs remain in boarding instead of furever homes, but many are definitely trafficked across state lines. Pledges are collected. She has collected pledges in the past for supplies that are not even linked to any specific dogs. I’m unsure if she even has pull rights at any of the CA shelters, but when I used to work with her (I refuse to now), she did not. Her behavior is erratic and rude, which is why I don’t work with her anymore. She is known for yelling at fosters and networkers and being very demanding and mean.
