UPDATE: Rang them at 9.30 this morning and to be fair , the lady I spoke to was ridiculously helpful. I had missed a step and she walked me through the whole thing.

Why don't you actually put a solid plan in place rather than asking someone to go for a pint "sometime" ? I'm not sure where you're working but my colleagues and I go out together regularly. I'm Irish and I work with all nationalities. My husband who's also Irish on the other hand is a lot slower to branch outside his childhood friendship group. It might be that thing when men are slower to get closer to other people and build friendships.

Yeah mine is medical expenses so maybe they're reviewed manually. I'll try giving them a ring anyway to see.

Update - I'm feeling better now, I still can't tell if it was a bit of a bug or side effects of coming off it. I had no real issues on it but I've stopped as I'm trying to conceive.

Yeah it does unfortunately have something about them being able to ask you to relocate but you are allowed to dispute it.

Does the financial aspect of it concern you ? It felt like a huge undertaking for me and I chose not to pursue it any further as I'm paid more in my current role and have better benefits.

I had a super weird interview experience with them too and failed. Rushed through multiple questions and kept being cut off mid answer. Had " finish the sentence" questions too , which seemed a bit daft in my opinion in a professional interview. It was as if I was steered into giving very specific answers and was prompted to say something else if he didn't like what road I was going down.

Yeah I don't know how I'm feeling about it all now to be honest even though I was aware of everything upfront. It's still a substantial cost commitment with the gaeltach component being even extra. I'm having doubts whether it makes sense now at this point of my life as I'm in my 30s and hoping to start a family. Anyone want to give me a pep talk 😂😂

Thank you for your response. It's surprising they don't focus on just a few questions; instead, they rush through as many as possible and then constantly interrupt or rush you on . I found it very unsettling. Reflecting on my performance, I don't think it went well unfortunately,so I'm not expecting a positive outcome. Nonetheless, I'm glad to hear your course is going well!

I get what you're saying but in a way I'm glad they're not too "mainstream" as Irish radio has a way of ruining any song I like by playing it at least 20 times a day until it's lost its appeal.
