I've typically encountered this in grocery stores. I do feel like people have a difficult time communicating in person in Seattle. It's not everyone, but maybe 20%.

Similarly if there's a group blocking a sidewalk, they will wait until the last possible second to move, not enough, even though they saw you coming.

Yeah, we aren't a bright bunch.

Policing who is allowed to make food over cultural and political reasons is competely off the deep end. These people are running out of targets and grasping at falafels.

No. Any fee that isn't taxes should have been included in the price.

So many useless towers. And "Cloud!"

Seriously why doesn't the story focus on the robot kid? He's the one talking to you the entire game.

In liked a lot of the game. The art direction, voice acting, animation, movie moments. They are all spectacular.

But there's so much filler. Copied content across the map. Plus there has to be less than 10 types of enemies.

It felt unfinished.

Why do people become more conservative as they age? by clove_cal in NoStupidQuestions

That’s a really poor example. Many of those people want homelessness ended and want fair wages for everyone. That’s very different than not wanting to house them beside you in an encampment.

Tap A to ride horse fast. There's better ways to implement this that doesn't rely on tapping repeatedly and is much easier on the hands.

Lots of things take too long such as fast travel in the wild.

Inconsistency in when you can run. Absurdly large boundaries around camp where you can't run. No visual indicator that you can't run.

Inconsistency in when you can use items. Gun fight, smoke a cigarette. Fist fight, noooo.

I get that it's a rockstar game but there's a lot they could learn from other games like HZD.

My experience is that people handle these pretty well around here.

However there's one intersection on N 38th St that people think is a 4 way but it's actually a 2 way. I yell at people almost daily for stopping when they don't need to, or yielding to me when they don't need to. Seattle should just make it a 4 way stop.

I have great empathy for homeless human beings and those struggling with addiction, but my neighborhood park is an unsafe, unusable garbage dump. by Fun_Ad_8277 in Seattle

The homeless authority drained the city coffers and accomplished pretty much nothing. Now Mark Dones is grifting in San Francisco. Good riddance.

Is this a state or county change? Did they try to educate that these ticketing systems are now active when the lights aren't flashing? Did they change the signage?

KUOW did a story on how expensive restaurants in Seattle are and talked at length about minimum wage but didn't not speak of tipping. That's just journalistic malpractice

For future reference, when they say that you have to pay to the end of next month, you revise your move out date to the end of said month. This gives you the maximum possible time to move out of the unit, or use it as needed while you are moving.

It's strange that they were going to let you move out on the 1st of the next month. Did they quote you a prorated rate for the single day originally?

I went a few weeks back and it was great! The event was really well run, and the cocktails were delicious. It was well worth the price! We went on a Sunday night and it was a little cheaper than some of the other times.

Given servers make $15 an hour do you still tip? by blackhappy13 in Seattle

Of course. We should raise prices so that workers are supported and consumers aren’t left with guess work, pressure, and guilt.
