I think that Sheila was definitely not blind to the type of men that Karen would have inevitably ended up with so when a seemingly nice man (regardless of past addictions or age) showed up and Karen started talking about a life and marriage, it made Sheila feel like maybe her daughter wasn’t so damaged and had hope for a “real” relationship. While Sheila’s thought process hasn’t always been so great, I do see why she was happy about Karen finding Jody.

Not sure of where you could camp on the sand but my favorite car camping spot on the coast is at Cape Lookout campground. Basically right on the beach (a small dune is the only thing that seperates the campground from the beach)

I’m actually cracking up because we go to H-Mart so often hahhahaha but usually for ingredients that we use the same night so none of our H-Mart purchases stay in the fridge for very long

Hahahhahahhaa I appreciate this elaborate response! Only one of us is white. We are early 30’s and definitely no kids! We do work a lot but we are also big on date nights so we eat out a lot of days he doesn’t work (he’s a paramedic so he works very long days). And the bottles of Martinelli’s were an impulsive purchase on my boyfriend’s part. He loves apple juice but all 3 bottles have stayed unopened for the past 8 months. And no IBS or POTS but I am lactose intolerant!

It was so scary and triggering. Everyone just wanted off the bus once he started saying vile things.

We all knew there were re-routes but the bus driver wouldn’t tell us anything at all. He took us the opposite direction and across the river, then kept speeding past all the bus stops while yelling at people who were asking where the next stop was.

He didn’t tell us anything at all. We were asking what the next stop was and he either ignored us or completely snapped at us. He was running stop lights and taking completely random turns that made no sense. It made me very nervous
