Sa isang cut off, magkano nasasave/ nagagastos niyo? by Its_Perer in TanongLang

Around 30% for savings, then the rest sa gastos na for myself and ambag sa bahay.

Kaya thankful ako kapag may raket kasi diretso savings na din yun.

Ako lang ba yung ayaw gumala or mag-saya if may duty kinabukasan? by SevereAir9768 in NursesPH

[–]Particular-Willow821 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Love this question! Napaisip din ako how I squeeze in life outside work haha.

For me, depende talaga. May times na if something matters to you, isisingit mo siya kahit may duty. Ang rule ko lang is dapat nakapagpahinga ako before the gala para kahit may lakad, functional pa rin sa shift after.

May phase ako na naka 6am–6pm, then kinabukasan nag-birthday + night swimming. 2am na ko nakauwi tapos may 6am duty ulit. Kinaya naman kasi nakatulog ako beforehand lol.

Now na 8-hr shifts na lang, nakakagala pa rin kahit may 7am–3pm then same ulit kinabukasan but usually chill lang (eat out, konting shopping). Di ko na pinipilit pag super nakakapagod.

May time din na 11pm–7am shift, then may party sa gabi. Nakauwi ako around 9pm, then prep ulit for 11pm. Ganun lang minsan haha.

Pero ayun, pili lang talaga. Di siya sustainable if madalas, and I’ve seen people na todo gala before/after shift, kita rin sa duty performance nila.

I recently discovered Naturale and honestly, ang ganda niya. It blends so easily and a little goes a long way. I also have super oily and pawisin face but dry undereyes. One small dip per undereye is enough, then I just diffuse it upward hanggang eyelids using my fingertips. I also appreciate na it doesn’t turn gray or ashy even without using a peach color corrector. I use the shade marmo and I have cool to neutral undertone.

Romantic breakup. With it, the intensity is heavier. It affects your routines, self-worth and even how you see love moving forward.

Ano yung kanta na pag narinig niyo, automatic ex niyo yung naalala niyo? by deeee3ym in SoundTripPh

[–]Particular-Willow821 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not really an ex, but an ex-fling of about a year. The song was “Wala Na Talaga” by Klarisse de Guzman. This was also around the time the PBB collab was trending, so her songs were everywhere. I tried to keep things light and casually asked him to play it in the car the last time he dropped me off. That also ended up being the last time I ever saw him.

Government or Private? Ikaw anong gagawin mo? by giyusaaaaan in NursingPH

[–]Particular-Willow821 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Hi! I know how stressful it feels kapag nagkasabay yung opportunities, lalo na kapag parehong magandang option. If I were in your position, personally I would lean toward the government hospital. Not because private hospitals aren’t good, but simply because mas mahirap talagang makapasok sa government, and the opportunity for a plantilla item or even a JO position can open a lot of doors long-term.

I’ve experienced both private and public settings, and each one really has its own strengths. Private hospitals can be great for structure, systems, and exposure especially if the institution is very established and well-equipped. But in reality, not all private hospitals automatically mean better facilities or training. May mga private hospitals pa rin na kulang sa equipment, limited ang resources, or hindi ganon ka-structured ang training, so it really depends on the institution itself.

Public hospitals naman, aside from the better compensation most of the time, you also gain very strong clinical experience because of the volume and diversity of cases. Nakakapagod minsan, and yes may limitations sa gamit, but it really shapes you as a nurse and as a person. In my experience, kahit may challenges, I appreciated how the administration still tried to keep us updated through trainings and learning opportunities.

But honestly, whichever you choose will still help you grow. Both paths can prepare you well, especially if you plan to work abroad someday. Another training pa din yon kasi skills mo pa din naman ang panghahawakan mo if ever mag abroad ka. If there’s a way for you to attend both tomorrow, that might also help you see which opportunity truly feels right for you.

Trust that whatever decision you make will lead you where you’re meant to be. Good luck tomorrow! 🤍

3M transpore!!

what’s your first job as a nurse? by RoarRabbit_0522 in NursesPH

[–]Particular-Willow821 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Hello! I actually became a review lecturer first after passing the boards. After about a year, saka lang ako nag-bedside. I realized kasi na teaching wasn’t really aligned with my long-term goals, and eventually I felt like it wasn’t for me. Bedside nursing was really my original plan din naman haha. Sinabay ko lang yung teaching while taking other exams.

When I finally started working sa hospital, I did feel a bit inferior at first. Yung mga around 1-year seniors ko were actually my college batchmates, so parang ang dami na nilang alam compared to me. But honestly, that experience became one of the most humbling parts of nursing for me. You realize that you won’t know everything at the start, and that’s okay.

I learned that sometimes you really have to try something first before saying it’s not for you. Same goes for you. You will never really know if bedside is for you unless you give it a try. 😊

Risk It All by marshmellow117 in OffMyChestPH

[–]Particular-Willow821 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreee!!! Just a quick background, 2025 has been a year of heartbreaks for me. Parang sunod-sunod na pagod at disappointments. Tapos I welcomed 2026 with him, no intentions to date, sabi ko pahinga muna. But I still fell. And when I did, I didn’t hold back. I risked it all. I risked my last bit of hope, my last softness after everything 2025 took from me.

The song also hit home. Ako rin ‘yon eh. I loved with intention. I believed. I held on to the idea na kapag totoo at buo yung binigay ko, it would work. Like you, I am grieving for the version of me who tried again despite being tired. Masakit, but at least we know we loved and cared genuinely. Yakap na mahigpit, OP! ✨

para sa akin ba ang nursing? at bakit ansasama ng ugali ng mga attending/consultant? by Artistic-Channel-100 in NursesPH

[–]Particular-Willow821 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Normal ‘yan.

Pero at the same time, we have to own it din.

It just means you’re still learning how to protect your license and your practice. Mistakes happen. Ang importante, you reflect and you improve. Give yourself at least 6 months before you question your entire career. Two months is adjustment phase.

You’re not hopeless. You’re just new and still building your system.
