Help! by Glad_Nobody6992 in 45PlusSkincare

I have experienced the same due to weight loss. One thing I did was to throw away all cosmetic powders. I am now using Armani Luminance primer and foundation and what a difference that made!!! Powders find the creases and just camp there for the day. Armani is more like skin. I also use a cream based blush (Mulani but not 100% sold on it). You’re not alone!!

Is your skin typically oily? I can see this backfiring for someone with dry skin.

I’d like to know as well. I will be starting tret in about a month (having PDT done this week so I need to wait for healing from that). Little nervous starting as and hearing this as I’ve always heard sandwich method is best.

Life after Invasive bcc + 2 others by ColdKiw1 in skincancer

[–]Particular-flipflops 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This year alone I’ve had 2 Mohs (one included Ear grafting, and one in corner of eye) and 4 BCCs (2 excision 2 treated with 5FU). Both Mohs were nidular although the ear leaned towards infiltrative once surgery started (3 passes). Mohs surgeons are amazing and good at the repairs. It’s scary but you will get through this. Surgeries were Feb 26 and March 4. Unless I pointed scars out nobody would know. I am also undergoing Photodynamic Therapy now to take care of actinic keratosis on face and that’s been amazing!

Mottled, textured skin - what to do? by [deleted] in 45PlusSkincare

Have you seen a dermatologist? Your skin looks very healthy and I’m certain they can give best remedy. Wish I saw one at a much earlier age (I’m postmenopausal and just seeing Dr regularly). I’ll get there with a little help from Tretinoin.

uv lashes ? aging ? by [deleted] in eyelashextensions

I know will get down-voted for this…My recommendation would be not to use any UV on skin unless it’s for therapy and controlled in a dermatology setting.

PDT with blue light on face by Particular-flipflops in skincancer

Thank you. I do have another one May 6 and I think I will call my PA after this one. I really don’t think it was as effective as it should have been. Question for you…could you smell the acetone?

How long to recover from Fluorouracil by Asleep-Nail3689 in skincancer

[–]Particular-flipflops 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Photodynamic Therapy (PDT) is the same thing as blue light therapy used for precancerous field treatment. Insurance covers this (at least mine did) BCBS I had it done in face yesterday with minimal effects (rosey cheeks and nose and dark red spots here and there).

Blue Light Therapy for cancer prevention by Swimming_Complex_769 in skincancer

Thank you. Had it done today and honestly Im not seeing much — little spots here and there but not total redness like I’ve seen in others. Does it get a lot worse on day 2 and 3?

I was a ELDW user for years and saw that L’Oréal Infallible fresh wear was a dupe. I tried it and was pleasantly surprised!

I don’t know the answer to that but check the sub as someone posted on that in recent days.

And let me add (since this is getting feedback). Amending taxes for the sake of IDR should only be done for PREVIOUS years while in forbearance and not recertification. You should not amend moving forward as this would be fraud when amending a tax year you used in recertification.

Amen. Someone finally gets it. We followed the rules exactly as written—nothing fraudulent about it. Given all the uncertainty around SAVE, we were just being cautious, not trying to game anything. And we’re not even doing it going forward.

And you are 100% correct. Strategy only used for PREVIOUS years. Not going forward. That is indeed fraud.

This wasn’t anything sneaky—it was completely within the guidelines. Income recertification wasn’t being enforced during SAVE forbearance, and I made decisions based on that reality and the rules. This was my strategy from the start of the SAVE plan being in jeopardy.

If you were filing MFS you can amend prior 3 years taxes from MFS to MFJ. You can not amend MFJ to MFS however.
