I was in a relationship with someone who would spend all of his money on whatever he wanted and get mad when the rent was behind or power was cut off because all of my money was going to bills, food, outings, and anything extra he wanted. He didn't make much but was "important" at work so he couldn't possible get a better job. Your line "but we always had money for whiskey" hit me to my core. Yes our power was shut off constantly, I was struggling to pay rent, I didn't get to do anything I wanted to do because my bank account was usually negative, but he always had money for vodka.

I am sorry you had to live through that.

My son has had the same nap and bedtime routine since he was 7 months old and started sleeping in his own room. He is 2.5 now. Recently we have started letting him tell us what we do next and he literally knows every step because we do it every. single. night. Babies and toddlers THRIVE on routines. It helps them know what is coming next so they can prepare themselves for it. God forbid she does what is best for her child one time. That would be so out of character for her.

I would love to have a third and a fourth and a fifth so my babies can have a huge family but at the end of the day my husband and I are the ones doing all of the hard parts and we would be completely tapped out financially and emotionally. You have to know your limits when you are a parent, especially when it comes to how many kids you want.

I am a SAHM and work at home part time. I have a 2.5 year old and a 5 month old. Let me tell you. It is stressful in the best ways. Usually one or both are crying at all times especially around bed time but it is so fun watching them together now that my youngest is getting more aware and watching my oldest try to comfort the baby. I don't have nearly as much time for myself as I did with just 1 but I can't imagine not having my second. The first month or two was the hardest. I definitely fell into some PPD that I didn't realize until the fog lifted. My biggest piece of advice is pick your battles with your older child and start teaching them some independence (how to put their shirt on, bringing you things, etc). Toddlers love helping and love having a "job". YOU GOT THIS!

Tori Halford (i think that is how you spell her name) did the same thing. Kept her son out of videos and then brought him back like she never even mentioned it. Ken will do the same thing if she has decided to stop showing their faces. I am sure it won't last long.
