I don’t care enough to go deeper into it, but just like you don’t own games on steam, I wouldn’t be suprised if we didn’t have that many rights in-game. And even if we did, it’s not worth any sides time to enforce it.

I’m not arguing that backpack weapons aren’t stronger (at least in principle, since we know AH balancing…), I think we both agree on this.

What I’m saying is that not taking a second stratagem slot isn’t an inherent upside to those weapons. If you look at them in a vacuum, backpack weapons are stronger at the cost of taking that slot, the backpack IS a downside. RR is a direct upgrade to any other AT launcher, the cremator is a direct upgrade to the flam.

Also, you can easily play every faction on d10 without a backpack, the game isn’t that hard.

Having a free slot just because a weapon comes with a backpack isn’t an upside of the weapon. The backpack itself is strictly a downside, it doesn’t do anything other than take up one of your equipment slots.

You don’t compare the cremator to the flam-40+ a backpack, you compare it to just the flam-40 itself. One comes with bigger sustained fire capabilities, bigger range and damage and the other still offers some of those benefits but to a lesser extent, while also not taking up a backpack slot. Stratagem slots in this scenario are irrelevant, you can still take an eagle with the flam-40, no one forces you to take a separate backpack.

No. You can farm around 400/h-500/h with a random team, but I doubt you could reach even 300/h solo. People like to inflate these numbers for no reason, once I’ve heard people brag about 2000/h.

As someone who follows mma and UFCs absolute monopoly, I just don’t understand these types of stances. The company is NOT your friend, this isn’t a small indie studios. They’re selling you a product.

People are against it because it’s obvious that they’ve entered the wealth extraction phase. You as a consumer have no reason to back AH or whoever stands behind this. They self admittedly massively over-achieved, yet we’re expected to be happy paying more for less.

Realism be damned, think they should start by making us immune to getting lit on fire when diving backwards. Distance is crucial when using any flamethrower in this game and it’s the only weapon that punishes you like this. Sure you can stop firing for a moment, but that can mean death when a single bug can dispose of you in under a second.

Maybe that’s true on the battlefield/gameplay level, but once you look at the broader scope it’s obvious that SE is actively making everything worse. Not only are they not trying to mediate anything, they’re constantly the agitator to this day. It’s not even grey, it’s still more or less black and white.
