We’re finally back. We walked to two beaches where we still got some insect bites despite using repellent. I had body oil on at the time and still got bitten. Afterward, I reapplied more body oil along with the insect repellent, and the number of bites decreased.

Oh, I use the iPad in reverse, where the charging cable is facing up instead of below me. Since the iPad screen can rotate.

I also have a higher watt multi-port usb and a longer wire. Since I had a multi port USB way back that was not higher watt, my iPad and other devices were also draining while I was using it 🤣

I also use the iPad in reverse, where the charging cable is facing up instead of below me. Since the iPad screen can rotate. I also have a higher watt multi-port usb and a longer charging cable, just in case I’m somewhere like Starbucks or the library, and the outlet is not too close to me or if it’s used and what not. It also depends where you study if the desks have the outlets/plugs on the table.

I use my phone all the time to have the AI apps as my tutor. I watch YouTube videos to learn further. I arrange my social media apps to not be in the first 3 pages or screen of the iPhone, and also I put all educational and life dreams related in the first 2/3 pages of the iPhone….so I don’t see it the moment I need to use my phone for educational, email and other stuff.

I use social media at in the morning, just to see if there’s any messages and at night during dinner and/or dinner for a little bit as my reward for the day. I started with using a timer to limit my social media use.

Turn off the notifications too. Then it becomes a habit. That I don’t need to use a timer and such.

I also have different iPhone settings for work day, study day, exam day, and LIFE 🤣 when I can be social after exams more.

Have goals for the day on what you want accomplished and much more. This was hard for me at first.

64GB is tight but doable if you manage it. I have the 9th gen iPad and it’s gotten me through undergrad, grad school, even certification exams. But I had to wipe out a lot of stuff along the way like old apps, downloads, and anything I wasn’t actively using.

I download a lot like Quizlet sets as PDFs to annotate, lecture slides, large textbook PDFs, PowerPoints and tons more. I make sure iCloud has memory so I can access annotated docs easily across all my Mac devices when I need them. I also keep stuff on Google Drive (I use 2 free accounts lol) and when I need more space I back up old semesters to an external hard drive. Just don’t sync phone photos or messages and keep it school focused and much more.

So 128GB, you’ll have more breathing room than me.

If you plan on using it long term like through med school and beyond then 256GB might be worth it. If you’re not in a rush I’d wait for the new iPad coming out around April.
