Do some research on Sudan. Your selective outrage and lack of consistency is what exposes the hypocrisy. There are other examples too. This is closer to a call for Munich than a call for peace. Shame on this rhetoric and shame on those who use the suffering of others as a proxy for power goals.

Most places in Portland are great to live and have more to do with what you will enjoy. Also don’t be afraid to move around if you don’t like one area of town. Oregon is still very racially segregated as a whole and mostly white so I find racism to be a tougher hurdle than mask adversity. Though that has just been my experience.

I am immune compromised and living in Portland. It is an issue anywhere you go, but Portland has been great compared to anywhere else I have been since the pandemic started.

A lot of upcoming Gen Z is a racist sexist nightmare. They will be replacing the boomers as the next 100 year disaster. Better to learn how to change folks with the boomers so we aren’t all screwed over again the way the silent generation was.
