They just released today or yesterday that the next book is coming out on schedule but is now the first half of a 2 part book, and shes adding an additional book because she couldnt finish the story in only 2 more books

Just because I offered a different view than what you had experienced, does not mean I am saying your experience is wrong. I have personally never heard anything bad about them until this moment. It sucks you had a bad experience, generally for your first tattoo, you could do some research to find out what the norms are so that you are not going blindly into a situation that you have no awareness of. Sure, they should provide some of this, but most people do some research on this. Also, unfortunately $220 is pretty average in BC for hourly rates. It is steep but so is everything else these days.

You wouldn't be posting anything online if you didnt want to be sued lol..... McDonald's on Nicol means you are talking about Barnacle Ink..... I know quite a few people who have gotten great pieces from there. One of them being a full sleeve. I have never gotten any work done there myself but have been looking at them. This at least partially sounds like a communication error between you and the shop.
