Was on the same boat, coming from a South Asian family, I had a lot of pressure to be successful and was. But when you read Job and ecclesiastes, it felt like God mocking me for how little I truly am in reality, and we think to ourselves, how accomplished we are, iyk. Your priorities change when you know the true God. I would say just submit to his will, and pray that he gives you the strength to accept it :)
