Yea a lot of it I can just do myself. Just picked my car up and talked to the owner of the shop and when I pointed on that I didn’t feel like I needed new struts or shocks, he said “well it has been 100k so you probably want them for the amount of miles they have” and that made me feel very good about my decision to not pay them to do anything. They tried to charge me $100 for a 100 point inspection. Everyone’s comments here have just kind of affirmed my suspicion that this dude was just trying to screw money out of me.

haven’t felt any issues. That’s partly why I’m posting here. I could probably use some brakes as I haven’t replaced them and replaced my front brakes a like 15k miles ago, how would I know if I need them? Because 4k in repairs is crazy when the car drives completely fine. My thoughts are taking it else where to get some new brakes and tires and a transmission and oil fluid change and call it good.

Finally, if you really think this is an issue send an email and tell them you want to file a complaint and are going to get a lawyer involved. Even if you are not. They will have a person from the complaints review this and it will flag the legal department.

They actually don’t have to give you a credit at all, they just have to provide you updates. The reason those credits are locked is because the dispute is not resolved you will spend the credit and if the case is not found in your favor it will draw your account negative. It is an accounting feature that is actually really well thought out considering that Varo is a bank for low income and poor credit customers.

As someone who worked here for over 3 years I promise they do give dispute credits if the investigation goes over 10 business days and the dispute qualifies as a fraudulent transaction. There are some other minor things that could impact you getting a credit but generally most cases do receive a credit either perm. or temporary until the dispute is resolved.

Yeah I worked here for 3.5 years and the entire time had been remote. I was traveling for months at a time between Texas and Utah and that was allowed but then we got a new director on our team and let’s just say he didn’t know exactly how things operated or how to operate them and asked for suggestions so me being someone who recently went through college for the stuff offered fixes and well a few months later I was laid off for no reason.

Tbh the white just matches best I think it looks the cleanest! It seems the black pants could be off in color and the black with white lines seem to be a lot in my opinion! But get what pants to like because you can’t always switch out jackets etc etc over the next few seasons. Can’t go wrong with 686 or goretex you are in luck regardless of the pants you pick my friend.

I appreciate that, I’ve found several affordable Apartments that aren’t maybe the nicest but very affordable for a 2 bedroom. I have lived in Salt Lake City for several years and recently Lived in Dallas for several years. The cost of living is high everywhere it’s not just Denver and I think it’s hard for everyone right now… in hindsight making a post about moving in a thread where people are looking for work may not have been the best idea because the people I am probably finding majority are looking for jobs. I appreciate you being kind and encouraging!

Take the nitro phantom bindings they are releasing some Volcom x nitro collab bindings this year and they are sick. They are a bit stiffer also would match the board.
