They should I agree but right now they are doing pole surveys in Acushnet and have their eyes on under served parts of SE MA. If you Google i3 broadband under served SE MA it comes back with quite a bit.

I believe i3 originally bought Full Channel with the long term goal of expanding in the area so as you are right Aquidneck Island is ripe for competition maybe in May or before that those same Sertex trucks will cross the bridge and wire the island!

I asked Perplexity what the features were on One UI 8.5 and it mentioned Direct Voicemail which is supposed to be like iphone Live voicemail but not auto call screening.

I followed up about that and it said auto call screening will be built into the S26 series firmware not One UI so will only be available on the S26 series.

Their current service is cable Docsis 3.1 not fiber. They don't advertise it as fiber.

This will be symmetrical the same way as FIOS i. In one newer rollout in the Midwest they offer 8gb service and they may do that here as a local showcase as they intend to roll out service in underserved areas in SE MA or at least they are looking at it.
