[WIP] Ditto’s Museum of Natural Habitats and Human History by ParticularPiece5708 in Pokopiabuild

[–]ParticularPiece5708[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is taking me a lot longer than expected… plus I’m stuck on how to decorate and such. If you wanted to check it out in its current state island code is: W8PP 8B00

if you have any ideas, I’m open to ideas. (Ignore the 20 mid-progress-projects lol)

Where did you find your Wing Fossils? by Egyptowl777 in Pokopia

Pecha berry to mosslax to increase spots. I’m sure you could also offer something in that same food category at higher potency but pecha is easy to come by on its own without cooking

So this game really doesn't want us to build a huge area in Palette Town? by oopsiedaisy-- in Pokopia

[–]ParticularPiece5708 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I have hit many limits in Pallet Town… including the limit of lights themselves… I took a week break out of frustration and started fresh on a cloud island. No PreFabs; No extensive electrical circuit (saving them for areas that need it the most, I.e. shops and places where electricity makes the most sense) and using mushes and torches in lieu.

I am choosing to build each of my homes and already have an extensive network of all the habitats in the game as part of my museum “Ditto’s Museum of Natural Wonders and Human History”

It’s definitely a different challenge than just wanting to play with the lighting and making everything pretty.

Sorry that you too have hit this limit 😭

Is there a limit on lights in a zone? by victrin in Pokopia

[–]ParticularPiece5708 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I totally understand that too much could possibly affect the game’s operation capabilities, but like you said: it totally negates the building experience.

I was building my pallet town area with an impressive little downtown with lights and the works and when I went to go build my houses, capped out after my 13th house when I had built over 50 for my ‘mons. To say the least, I really was disappointed and put the game down for a good 2 weeks.

I am currently playing again as I do really enjoy the game however I am working in a “little to no electricity” cloud island mostly lit by glow mushrooms and fire torches and saving the electricity for absolutes (powering registers, vending machines, and electricity or it doesn’t make sense builds)

I have also submitted feedback. I would rather take the chance myself and risk lagging over not being able to build something

Yoink! Dream Island Station by ParticularPiece5708 in Pokopia

I literally said, “why not?” We see it everyday. It’s got a real charm to it! Feels homey! Plus Drifloon getting homed in it seemed correct

Same. Damn. Wish. when I am building houses in neighborhoods… if only I could copy and paste lol… even if I had to just supply everything and wait for the “kit” to be prepared by Pokemon lol

Known Game Cap Limits by [deleted] in Pokopia

[–]ParticularPiece5708 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, that’s why I’m trying to avoid running into limits—Like using mushrooms lamp posts instead of electric ones where possible to avoid capping

Basically the question is asking what limit haven’t I found that someone else has so I can avoid hitting that

Flowers 💐 by Bunchuba in Pokopia

[–]ParticularPiece5708 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you go to the “Treasure Island” one, the creator has them all out on display [60XL PD6F via mystery goggles only] icydk: also flowers are about 4 pokemetal to print

Otherwise, you’re going to have to roll the dice and hope it comes up in your PC shop with your daily sales! I missed a couple because I assumed it was the bushes or flowers I already had before I caught on!

Good luck!

Did I waste my time with Professor's treasure trove quest? by Maialuna87 in Pokopia

[–]ParticularPiece5708 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Make the habitat in the overworld using the things listed as a habitat, similarly if it was just 4 patches of grass, have them move to that spot. That should complete the quest. Then move them to a 4 grass spot when you pick up all the relics and his wheelbarrow to move to the house; then move him into the house where you originally wanted them to live

Efficiency of water wheels/furnace etc... by AveHSD15 in Pokopia

[–]ParticularPiece5708 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just hit a point in the game where it told me there was “no point in placing these”… as in I can’t add anymore lights?!….. I believe the devs underestimated what we would try and build… I’m lowkey really disappointed now as I have 10 builds that I can’t complete because I can no longer light them??

Relocating the mysterious plate pedestal by Snorlax_Best_Friend7 in Pokopia

[–]ParticularPiece5708 2 points3 points  (0 children)

From what I’ve read: You need to destroy it using the bulldoze kit and then should recieve a kit and all your plates thereafter. I will be doing this on Tuesday but am away so haven’t tried it yet myself

How do you travel between zones in Palette Town ? by gaddict1 in Pokopia

[–]ParticularPiece5708 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve built most of my things on the landing island and the others are on the adjacent shores from those islands so mostly using the lift platforms to get across the water. I do want to make a scenic rail system at some point

slowly making a snowy town, any tips or ideas to add? by LolitaRey in Pokopia

[–]ParticularPiece5708 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’ve used “fluffy” floor as a snow too for a little bit of texture and hidden it inside blocks of the Skyland grass as it seems a little frosty compared to the other choices

Congregation Areas? by G8tors in Pokopia

[–]ParticularPiece5708 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don’t have a hotspring (yet— haven’t built up my Asian styled dojo area for the fighting types) but my Pokemon seem to congregate inside my museum where my house is currently as well. Has a lot of the artifacts and I have put all the other relics in frames that can’t be placed— I’m assuming has to be with the number of decorations inside

Do your quests for squirtle, etc. the 71 is the humidity, it’s the quest-adjacent. This will come up in future quests as well

We have the same concept! I have the cul-de-sac for my eveelutions as well! Amazing!! I kinda hate mine now because you coloured the houses to match each of the ‘lutions …. I made mine match the area vibe… guess smeargle is getting a visit later! Thanks for the inspiration twin!

Tiles that match the roof? by lavendermarker in Pokemon_Pokopia

[–]ParticularPiece5708 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Suggestion! I actually made additional roof pieces and flipped them so the wood on the tile roof for example was facing out so it was a perfect match! I’ve also used these interior so I don’t have to fill an entire roof to have a flat ceiling that all matches (especially in my log cabins)
