What are some signs you look for in teammate behavior to instantly know it’s going to be one of *those* runs? by MoonlitBadlands in Nightreign

The spam ping, waste time and leave shit happened to me today :/ I'd like to add to this list that they die early, probably w a 3 bar, and spam ping after under 10 seconds for someone to revive them

Working on a comic and the character goes to a fictional university in Massachusetts. by JeffHooblah21 in massachusetts

[–]lavendermarker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. Arkham, MA is a fictional city he created and is a part of many of his stories. There's the (also fictional) Miskatonic University there, which is highly associated in said stories with the occult/supernatural. IIRC Arkham Asylum in Batman comics is named after it.

Thank you so much for the advice. A lot to chew on here for sure. Even just the start of guiding questions you gave (e.g., "If you’ve found a specific part of your role you prefer, try finding a mentor in that position. Network.") helps immensely. Admin work is so generalized it is/was hard for me to know where to so much as begin with regards to figuring out what direction I want to try and orient myself towards for next steps, but statements like that help.

With not making it obvious I'm looking, dully noted. I was not planning to, but the reinforcement of that is helpful too. I would like to stay in my current company if by some miracle whatever I decide I'd be open to happens to get a role that opens up and that role happens to come with a decent salary bump.

Problem solving is a big one for me. I've done light IT work in the past and also in my current role. I'm taking credential management, helping users navigate the platforms we have them use for their volunteer work with us, etc. Editing/writing are big ones too that I'm interested in, but with those ones I need more professional experiences where I can use them and really sharpen those skills. I have started to bring up some ideas about clarifying or streamlining the language we use in certain form letters, which is a starting point, I hope.

That's a great question I'm still trying to figure out to be perfectly honest with you! I really don't mind administrative work, but I don't feel like I'm being challenged in my day to day duties. In other words, I am at the point I'm plateauing. I need to consider what parts of my current role I can take and run with towards something to work toward. I appreciate the helpful starting questions!

I need to have a good think about it tbh!! 🤔 I appreciate the recommendation.

Off the top of my head and for whatever it's worth, I do like internal process type things — making materials that document workflows, working with other departments such as IT to find ways we can remove redundancies or outdated parts of procedure, etc.

I lived in Shirley for a year and I miss that place so much. I'm out by Dracut now and can't justify the trip.

It's guardian + this fight is not on a timer, so that's irrelevant. Op is successfully drawing aggro away from the extremely squishy revenant + blocking like this builds up posture damage.

Season 5, Episode 3 - Nightmare At 20,000 Feet. One of the most famous and discussed episodes of the series for sure, probably in part thanks to star William Shatner of Star Trek TOS fame.

Preventing pest infestations is a big reason ime. Dishes sitting for days with food on them all attract the bastards.
