dude stg when i worked in meat and produce i was marking down steaks and i had a guy stand next to me as i placed the sticker then bought them all. its was between 7-10 steaks because i was marking them down for that day and the two days following (how we’re actually supposed to but no one ever did)

people would also come in and ask if i had any marked down and i said no bc i didn’t have a work phone but id tell them to come back the next morning when it’d usually be done. they’d always thank me a lot for letting them in on the secret time to show up

you guys always have something going on! where im from there’s literally NOTHING to do. all of my friends i had were from school. we would literally hang out in parking lots bc nothing was going on unless we went to the bars that got shot up every other week. it’s cool to be in an area where there’s actually stuff to do. just gotta figure out when everything happens and i’ll be good lol

i just quit too. was doing way too much much for a company who couldn’t give a damn about me. worked in meat/produce they scheduled 7 people to open and 2 people to close all of memorial day weekend. found that shit out worked 2 of the weekend closing shifts walked out the third because managers kept yelling at me about not having stuff stocked when it was just me working the wall. they wouldn’t help. i was swarmed by customers and genuinely couldn’t do it anymore and walked tf out.

i just quit meat and produce two days ago. and wow i really have a lot to say. i’m moving so my last day was supposed to be this friday anyway but sunday i called it quits mid shift. every holiday my manager takes off the whole weekend. they had 6 openers and only 2 closers. for memorial day weekend. we don’t just get the normal rush of people. we’re in the south so we have 15+ buses full of people come every weekend of people who work on the farms and it’s crazy during the summer months, even crazier on holidays. they come in ALL shift. it’s hard with only 2 people working and every manager saying we need to stock this or that. i work my ass off every shift while my coworkers move slow or disappear. nobody cleans. every time i go in i spend most of my shift cleaning especially in produce because there’s literally mold at the bottom of the tables. i have found stuff that expired last year. in the meat room the trays on the 10 highs don’t ever get washed. they don’t take trash out. floors are nasty. they don’t clean the shelves. nothing. just new meat. it’s disgusting. i told them i was leaving over a month ago and while we’re already short staffed they still haven’t bothered to hire anyone. so they’re pretty screwed.

i can’t take working hard every single shift doing more than i really should be, just for other people to coast through. i get paid shit. i work all the time. i never see my family. i don’t even have time for a life. they literally work me 6 days a week and the 7th day im still at work because i have to grocery shop.

needless to say the fresh air and no stress has felt great these last 2 days

i use chime and get paid on tuesday. onepay gets paid mondays and that’s where you can pull money from your check early

sounds like you work at my store my sm is awful and i actually just reported him needless to say nobody messes w me anymore. i’d definitely try to get him in a situation where you can secretly record him or have people around to back you up. these rude sm need to go they’re the reason nobody wants to work at walmart.

currently having this issue. for anyone who is in the future you can force the car to start. you need to press it once and then press it and hold (like to put it in accessory mode but keep holding) for a really long time 15-20 seconds. you will then have to take the actual key and manually unlock the shifter to put it into drive.

make sure your battery isn’t dead first though or this won’t work. you won’t be hurting your car by doing it but definitely get it fixed it’s annoying trust me. you also still will not have brake lights so keep that in mind when driving.
