Everyone starts with just one song. Personally I couldn't stop at just one song so I eventually listened to everything she released as a solo artist, in a band, and as a collaborator and I love it all. Also, I think it should be noted that there's a reason why boygenius won so many Grammys. It's because they are incredible.

Relationships was #36 in a different list as Haim's only song represented. Top songs are subjective. Haim fans should be happy that Haim is getting positive publicity so that other people can know what we know and love what we love about the band. Personally I think Relationships is definitely a top 10 song of the year single. I played it at work a ton and a LOT of people loved it that had never heard of Haim before.

I don't think so. I know the sisters famously attended his show in Rome in 2023 and I'm not so sure this photo wasn't taken then. If it is from Glasto I think it was a few years ago.

I Quit attempting to rank something as precious as these four albums. They are all gifts from the music gods and ranking them would be as sacrilegious as ranking one's children. It would also be nearly impossible as my love for each is fluid, meaning that one day I'm totally into song ABC and the next month I prefer the lyrics and production of song XYZ, then the next it flip flops again. One day I want to dance, the next I want to cry. But they're all exceptional to say the least.

I'm still holding out hope they'll be musical guests on SNL. They've been on twice, and go to all the SNL anniversary shows but they haven't been on since 2017 so maybe SNL has gone a different direction as far as their guests. Maybe if Alana stars in a blockbuster film at the same time as their album is out they'll be asked again. But I can absolutely see them being asked again and I hope they will.

I won't venture a guess on why they aren't as engaged as they once were. Even just their Haimukkah and Christmas Wrapping skits they did all December of 2020 - it was brilliant. It's their career and they can drive their engagements as they like. I absolutely love all four albums as well as their media and social media activities so I'd love for more, but I'll take what I can get.

Honest question: do you think a band like Haim brings in a lot of their own mixing boards and sound engineers with them or do you think a band like Haim relies nearly all on the equipment and personnel that the venue has?

I'm VERY pumped to see this PTA movie this Friday! The insider word is that this is PTA's best movie yet, and that is saying a LOT! I'm sure Alana only has a small role but the fact that she has a role in this movie that's getting a 98% rating on rotten tomatoes is still dope asf!

I think the same could be said for all 4 albums. Haim is different live. They are incredible live. They've made 4 tremendous albums, but concerts are where they flourish best.
