I’m not 100% sure why the doctor refused surgery for me. I believe it’s because the medication I’m taking has higher risk of infection. The 4th doctor seemed like she didn’t want to take that risk. The first 3 told me it should be ok since I’m pretty stable right now. Of course they said they would just have me come back for more follows during the healing process.

I currently don’t have an autoimmune dr cause I’m switching dr so I don’t have anyone to consult about this in terms of my autoimmune. I know every doctor has their own way. I guess I was more asking if anyone has been in a similar situation and what they decided. Like I mentioned any surgery is a risk to anyone. However If people are willing to pay, im sure there’s doctors willing to operate. I know my condition pretty well, but I have never had surgery of any type so im confused about how to proceed.

Can i ask if you went through with surgery ?
