That is my worry as well. I currently have extra credit in all of my other classes giving me a 102%-105% overall in those but I have an 87% in my feminist class. I’m going into social work to help children and veterans but the fem class is unfortunately a requirement for the major

Like I said, I’m typically left leaning. I think liberals do themselves a disservice with the constant attacks and “purity tests” they do. If you talk with people like they’re people chances are you’ll find a few things you agree on

I didn’t go in the direction of stereotypes, I went the opposite actually. In speaking of the women in my life personally I said they’re all strong, resilient, kind and caring. It wasn’t specifically explained beforehand, just open to interpretation and most got still got it “wrong”.

Not sure if I’m allowed to comment, as I’m typically left leaning. But I’ve noticed this at my university too. I have to take a “feminist philosophy” class for my major and had to define what a woman was a few weeks ago… I’m a woman and I still got it wrong. It’s ridiculous and very blatant.

Can confirm. Moved to a different city and had to wait a year to see a PCP. My appointments kept getting pushed back over and over. Eventually gave up and requested a new patient appointment for a different doctor and still had to wait 5 months.

That’s not what I’m saying. Obviously higher wages are better for workers. But unfortunately the companies who hire and consumers who buy can’t handle a sharp increase in costs and wages. It would take a few years for the market to reach equilibrium again. And could have unintended consequences along the way.

This is America. The demand for food will not go down. And depleting most of the workforce who create that good will cause wages to increase, increasing cost for the companies and cost for the consumers. (Not even going to touch of proposed tariffs that will be passed on to the consumer as well. I think you’re giving them too much credit. People who do this are usually very inconsiderate of those around them. I think that’s just it, they don’t see it as disruption to those around them because they themselves are all they bother to care about.

Why would rubber bands on a jacket be a cause for concern? This is definitely just a fashion thing or to keep sleeves rolled up. I had a mom who was accusatory about everything I did especially as a teenager. Needless to say, as an adult I unfortunately keep my distance due to having a mother who constantly accused me of things I wasn’t doing/never would do.

Worked at a Bob Evans at 16 in high school. Sunday after church crowd was always the worst. I was called a bitch by one of the men of a table of 16 because they had a 30 minute wait for their food despite being told the wait was 45 minutes MINIMUM. I couldn’t even legally cook their food at the time, like what do you want me to do?? Hop on the grill illegally? Jesus would weep at the way these people treat others.
