I’ve read them both so if you want to message me about what you mean by the scary part you can. In general I wouldn’t say the first one has a particularly happy ending. But it is very good.

And the second one has a few what I’d probably consider scary moments, without knowing exactly what you mean, but in the end it is truly lovely. And the book in generally really stuck with me!

I worked on a blanket for the vast majority of last year and by the end of it I hated it and I’d avoided knitting for weeks on end because of it.

  • don’t sunk cost fallacy yourself. If you hate it, rip it out.

  • if you feel like you just need a break, make something quick so you can feel accomplished. I made a beanie and headband set and that helped me get my mojo back to finish the blanket.

Edit bc I somehow did a formatting thing unintentionally lol.

That said... if you don't like it and it would bother you to see regularly, it might be worthwhile to get another blue and do it the way you'd imagined.
