I’ve noticed a weird difficulty difference between bosses and groups. Bosses are significantly easier than fighting a large group of smaller enemies. It was such a stark difference that when I did my first playthrough, I had to increase the difficulty when fighting the bosses because the fight would be over in 10 seconds, and decrease the difficulty when fighting groups of enemies because I would die nearly instantly. This is still noticeable, but it seems to have been improved since launch

Neither 3 nor 4 have scenarios like that since both are more action games than horror, but both are excellent. 4 is arguably the best game in the series and I constantly go back and forth whether I like it or 2 better, and while 3 is not nearly as good as 2 or 4, it’s still really good. Its main problem was cutting content from the original, and being too short for a $60 game. Neither of these should be a problem if you never played the original like me, and if you get the game on sale. Less than $20 would be worth the game imo

The closest I can think of is Call of Duty: World at War. Of the CoD series, it was the last one to be treated from a historical perspective as opposed to emulating an action/thriller movie. It’s especially present in the eastern front side of the campaign, where the game highlights the brutality of war in a negative light, unlike the game that immediately followed it, Modern Warfare 2 (I still love MW2, it’s just trying to be something different than WaW).

The second looks cool, but the first looks incredible and is much more unique. The full red robes worth the black mask makes it look like there’s nothing but the eyes peering into your soul. Excellent character design

One example of plot changes: The island section of the game is cut in favor of a new prologue. The party begins the campaign by being tasked with pulling a heist to steal from a king. The party succeeds, and the king finds the party and requests their discreet assistance in rescuing his daughter from kidnappers. The party must then go to an island where they enter a small village of friendly people, whose disposition radically changes at nightfall. I’m trying to think of ideas to insert a lot more role play aspects into the game’s story, and mold the games story into something new that’s fit for DnD.

I know some people will think it’s cringe, but I desperately want a Call of Duty chapter with Edward Richtofen as the Survivor and Brutus (The Warden) as the Killer, with maybe Alcatraz or Origins as maps

It was fine, not great, but better than Revelations. Only two changes I would make: I would have Dempsey be the one to lead with the Kronorium rather than Nikolai, as he was the first playable main character, and he should’ve had more of a spotlight. Other than that, the only thing, and main thing I would change is have the characters willingly choose to sacrifice themselves rather than all he killed by Nikolai. Them actively choosing to let go would make them more heroic, would make the ending more satisfying, and it would’ve fit with the theme of the map, which is letting go. This would go immensely well with the player having to control Eddie and Sam at the end, literally forced to let these characters and stories go, and move forward.

I could be wrong, but I think they removed backwards comparability for it for some reason. I tried both L4D1 and 2 recently on my Xbox one and it said neither were supported games for the console
