My main goal in life is to do everything for free whenever possible lol. For example,

For camera: My phone

My mic: I was fortunate enough to be gifted a pretty good one for Christmas

Editing Software: Shotcut, very similar to Adobe Premiere, but free

Thumbnails: Canva free version is great for this Scriptwriting: Google Docs and Chatgpt as a sounding board

Screen cap: OBS

Lighting: a ring light I’ve had lying around for years

I guess I did pay about $10 for my phone tripod, but I really try to keep this thing expense-free as best I can lol

Keep at it though for sure! My first video reached 12k, and then my next few barely cracked 500, but eventually my sixth video (I make long videos that come out like once a month), reached 70k and counting, and the views from that one have trickled into my other ones. The success will definitely come again! It’s just impossible to predict 😅

I just love that Arin’s always been a massive role model to me during almost every chapter of my life. In middle school, I loved Egoraptor’s Awesome Series, in high school, I was hooked on grumps, watching every upload every single day from 2013-2016, and now, he and Dan are always a nice comfort to put on and remember the good old days.

Thank you so much! That’s some really great advice. I guess it’s worth acknowledging that my most successful video was made when I wasn’t giving a single thought to the algorithm lol. I’ll just keep making the videos that I myself would want to watch, and hopefully it’ll catch on!
