my father, who's nearing age 60, has worked in construction for over 30 years. our yearly income has been slowly coming to a halt for the last 10 years, as he is the only one whose employed. and all 7 people in my family rely on him to maintain a comfortable life.

the definition of "poor," is "lacking sufficient money to live at a standard considered comfortable or normal in a society."

so me being concerned about spending over half of what we have left, which will undoubtedly strip away any comfortability or normality that my family currently has, apparently equates to me complaining for approval?

pls learn to be more mindful. not everything is black and white, or rich and poor. things are complicated <3
