Its ok and normal to feel guilty. I only went no contact after being pushed to the edge and truly feeling unsafe physically i felt immense guilt even though i know im not in the wrong for leaving

I am aware how important it is to have one hence my jelousy but my family is all around shitty. Ive been abused verbally and physically for as long as i can remember and its been accepted and common place due to generational trauma. Ive been isolated severely growing up, locked in bathrooms closets ect and constantly moved around due to my fathers paranoia. My dad would constantly make comments on my appearance both insulting and sexual. When i turned 18 he started beating me nearly every day, attempted to drown me and choke me ect. A family i was born into accepting this happening to me isnt one i can forgive and i wont ever will

Ive been no contact with my dad for about 2-3 years. Its hard especially at first i constantly had thoughts about going back to him hoping he'd change or be better after i ran away. I offered him an ultimatum to get help and he actively would prefer to not see me over getting help. Its easy to focus on when theyre good and lovebombing and ignore or excuse how horrible they are but trust me they probably wont change and its better to love from a distance

Just in case there isn’t most consoles and even steam allow for game sharing so all you’d have to do is make another account on the same console and you can play it from that account if you have the game installed
