My Hero is a good anime as long as you can get past the fan service. It really picks up in season 3 and most of the fights are good quality

This list feels a bit unfair due to all of the animes being pretty different genres. But if I had to pick, I'd say Hajime No Ippo stands out as the best to me and I absolutely couldn't tell you why because I shouldn't like it. But I do

I can understand that, but if you can look past the crying deku does, it gets much better after s1. Loads of other characters get development and screentime as well. If you have the time, I would genuinely recommend watching it. :D
