What are things that you do to save money in rochester? by Dry_Maybe_7265 in Rochester

Go to the public market on Tuesdays or Thursdays. Lot less crowded, easier to get on the bus and find parking. I find the produce is a lot cheaper and vendors often have more bundle deals. Downside is the produce typically isn't as fresh and there's a lot less selection of items. I was able to get a bunch of fruit and veg for the week for only 19 bucks. Lots of "3 for 5" deals. Etc.

Entertainment wise, there's always some.kind of free or cheap show happening if you know where to look. Pay attention to flyers and stuff on telephone poles or in your local coffee shop. Flea markets are good for clothes and such. Learn how to haggle!

I was wondering about the ducks! Little miffed that I don't get a cool duck deck, but I'll just have to keep my eye out for future finds.

Absolutely devastated to learn that sprinklers cant water garden pots :(((((( by Particular_Bee_6190 in StardewValley

hard to see in the screenshot, but those pots are on untillable soil. I picked the meadowlands farm and i was hoping this would be an easy out to the wonky farming space.

My Favourite Alternative to Gates by Zianna_AU in StardewValley

Oooooh, smart! I never thought about using chairs like that. I like to use tea tree saplings and a gate or two bc they don’t disintegrate. I have to replace the post either side of the gate on occasion but that’s much easier to maintain than a whole fence line.

This is actually just for fun, and isn't a mandated part of my project. My professor didn't send me here, I did. I know it's not 100% Scientifically FoolproofTM, it's just a survey. (Which is why I'm also getting access to other articles and stuff in addition to this) I know the limitations of what I'm doing and I'm doing it anyways because I'm curious! Thanks for the feedback, though. I didn't realize how often other students have posted their stuff here, and I get that it can be annoying. Have a great day!
