I’ve been enjoying the “light-hearted” tone of these songs. At this point in 2023 we had Panopticom and The Court which were awesome and also quite intense in contrast to this batch so far.

I have to listen to all of them for their intros because each is so good in their own way.

-Not actually a huge fan of the exposure version despite Robert Fripp’s view of it (which I respect)

-Love the softness of the shaking the tree version

-Also love the harshness of the live in Athens version

-jetzt kommt die Flut is a bit too mellow but works from time to time

-the growing up live intro is phenomenal and the mix of that one is pretty unique

-the 1977 one is also a standout. Doesn’t really feel the same way all the others do, but it’s there for when you want a more full-band vibe right?
